The Magician's Apprentice by Trudi Canavan, ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Read in January 2020 A very addictive read that I would willingly read again and again. A book I could not put down with lots of fantasy elements that I like. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because of the constant switches between the impressive cast of characters, some of which were not as interesting as others. Personally I preferred Tessia and Jayan's story and would have liked to stick with them all the way through.
